Location Shots

Today Dean and I took a digital camera around the school site and took shots of the places that will appear in our video. Our video has four main areas in which it will be shot, and we belive these places to be the most appropriate for our storyline.

Costume Ideas

Today we talked about what costumes our characters should wear, colour schemes and props. I have created a simple presentation that displays who will be wearing what. We feel that inkeeping with our Film Noir genre, our characrers should be mainly dressed in black and white and sport the famous Trilby hat. Our leading lady is wearing red to indicate that she may be quite dangerous and not what you'd expect.

Storyboards and Animatics

This is a simple breakdown of what the storyline will be like in our video. It shows there are three main scene changes, and each box shows a critical part in each scene. Underneath the boxes there is an explanation of what's happening in the particular shot, who it involves and any other relevant information.

This is the storyboard of the final scene where the truth is uncovered but we wanted to portray every ones view of the situation within the scene so we decided that having over the shoulder shots of all the characters would be a good idea along with the establishing shot.
